Even better than that is the voice acting, Telltale is one of the best around well when they were around when it comes to voice acting and each character in this game is voice acted, very well. I will say that it does not hit the emotional depths of smoothing like The Walking Dead. However, I would go as far as to say that this is a bit of a hidden gem and a game that is critiqued way too harshly.
